Two Simpler and Nicer PHP/MySQL Forums
I came across two very nice, easy and simple to install and manage Forum scripts based for PHP/MySQL:

PUNBB, unlike PHPBB and others have a very cool and easy skinning system which I really liked.
I would have love to use any of them for WordPress discussion, only problem is neither has a Hebrew translation :\.
PHPBB seems like it has some security flaws, and we were really looking for something sweet & simple, but customizable – very important.
We chose PunBB.. we’ll see how it goes, we’re building an English site, so can’t help you with the Hebrew.
We are starting a newer project, it’s a site in Hebrew that will need a forum system. So either we’ll translate PunBB or ……. any suggestions?
I think the translation won’t be such a big deal. The system itself is a bit smaller and it should only take a couple of hours.
I don’t know any other translated forum systems, and if they are (like the PHPnuke ones) they’re crappy, really.
